The most significant election in my lifetime

As a mother and Conservative woman it is not surprising for me to view this election as a critical point in our nation’s future. I say this because we can stay on the same path that the majority of American’s today say is the wrong one or change the course and make America stronger and more prosperous again.  In my view if Obama wins another 4 years, we will see the United States become a more entitled and socialist society.

More Americans today are on food stamps than ever in our history, yet we hear Obama blame Bush. More American’s today are unemployed than ever before, yet we hear Obama blame Bush.  There are fewer jobs today than in 4 years ago, yet we hear Obama blame Bush. Notice the pattern here? Instead of taking the bull by the horns and tackling the problems we face as a country, our leader wants to continue to blame his predecessor. How does this solve the problems we face? It doesn’t really, and neither does pitting American’s against each other based on gender, race or whether or not they are successful.

We should not be surprised however at the path America is on right now. After all, many in the conservative media tried their best to vet then Senator Barack Obama. His views, ideology and how he was raised is in direct correlation of where our country is headed.  Obama believes in redistribution of wealth. He believes we should take from those who have money and give to those who don’t.  Today, there is no excuse as to why someone is not successful, nada. It is merely a choice one makes on whether or not they choose to have something in life worth working for.  Many have lived on welfare for generations, yet they will blame the “rich” because they are too lazy to make the same choices that a person who is successful made.  Maybe that sounds harsh for some, but that is just a simple fact. You can go to college, earn a degree and open your own business if you are a minority (black, brown, female it doesn’t matter). We see it happen everyday and yet hate merchants like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson or Van Jones would suggest “whites/conservatives” hate Obama or hate the poor. Interesting concept for Sharpton, Jackson and Jones to come up with huh? Van Jones and Al Sharpton frequent the White House, so is that the sentiment our President also has? Scary to even imagine.

Come this November, we as American’s have the option to sit at home and complain about our lot in life, or take our fannies out and vote.  It’s not a right but a privilege to make our voice known.  I will make the choice to nominate Mitt Romney on that day. Sure, I will be the first to admit that he was not my first choice, but who I voted for didn’t make the process so why do I want to punish America by voting for someone who has no chance to win (like Ron Paul, Newt Gingrich or any other write- in candidate) and help Barack Obama succeed in another term? Trust me, if Obama wins the election, nothing will stop him from putting in radical progressive changes in our Government, the likes we have never seen except in Greece or other countries who are near bankruptcy.  We owe that to our children and grand children who will inherit this mess.  Should we as voters have protested the spending before now? Absolutely! So now do we say we just give up or do we fight for our kid’s existence! I’m in the mood for a fight…so are many other Americans! Let’s go for it!
